ROBERT PLANT VISITS JOSHUA TREE
(for more, see www.gramrabbit.com & www.tedquinn.com)

the following is a memory & update from chrissie wilson:

Ah yes. That golden day with Mr. Plant and his companion, Ms. Alannah
MIles ("Black velvet and a little boy smile"...trala)
around the 29 Palms pool when I spent 35 buck on margaritas, Robert
regaled us with stories from Wales and the road and, for his pains,
I made Dosh throw Robert into the pool, thereby upstaging the rockstar
of his own tricks of the trade.

What a swell party it was. Fred, Ali, Ben Chapman and Ben Day, Dosh the
Bosh, Tina and Hal and more no doubt that I cannot recall right now,
right here.
Which is...on the bayou in the Mississippi...or rather, in the Swamp,
living in a tent with Burners Without Borders, the Katrina relief crew
direct form Burning Man and the playa to the Gulf Coast. We will be
here for another month. It's both grim and great. Hard physical labour
and the most rewarding work I have ever done since clearing Fred's yard
with y'all at the Rancho, 12 years and many moons ago...

Big love to all in the Hi-de-Ho desert plains. We need Nag Champa down
here to keep the flesh eating insects away!
We're here:
Burners Without Borders, 3090, Gause Blvd. #332, Slidell, LA 70461 if
you lay your hands on any extras (heehee!)

Here's a pic of us taken as we were clearing a FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT
house and recycling the wood to build a house for local 71 yr old who
outran the hurricane on his Harley but returned to zip the next day.
